The harvest season takes place from mid-August to early October across the undulating hills and vineyards of DO Empordà. In addition to a weekend-long opening celebration, many wineries of the region host their own harvest activities and events that are family-friendly or specifically geared at children. There are, of course, things to do (and wines to taste!) for adults as well.
