Corpus Christi is a significant event in the Western religious calendar that is traditionally celebrated in cities and towns across Spain. One of the most memorable Corpus Christi traditions that have taken root in some Spanish towns is the creation of long and intricate flower carpets right on the town streets.

The mountainous Catalan village of Arbúcies is famous for its flower carpets, whose appearance marks the opening of the annual multi-day festival Enramades d'Arbúcies.
