Peix de Roca (“Rock Fish”) is a unique gastronomic festival in the Costa Brava that appeals to summer season early birds. Beginning in late April and until early June in Begur, it offers the perfect opportunity for visitors to enjoy the fantastic fish selection the coast is renowned for. In addition to the usual suspects of sea bream, sea bass, hake, and turbot, less readily available species and cooking methods make their way onto restaurant menus in Begur and its surrounding urbanizations of Esclanyà, Fornells, Sa Tuna, and Sa Riera.
