Three ancient peoples — the Ibers, the Romans and the Greeks — reconvene each May in the historic ruins of Empúries, l’Escala, to celebrate the Triumvirate and recreate the culture and heritage of these three very different ancient states.
The Mediterranean Triumvirate is a weekend-long festival with costumed performances, activities, workshops and an artisanal market. The ruins of Empúries serve as the perfect backdrop for this family-friendly event that will surely take you back to the classical era.
